Latest find. Model 60-7. Unfired in box, but not for long. For some reason as I get older I like the simplicity of a 5 shot revolver more and more.

What a beauty! I am a pretty unabashed Ruger fan when it comes to revolvers but I do love the look of some of the older J-frame Smiths.

It's a looker. I almost hate that I'm going to scuff it up, scar those impractical but cool grips, and leave carbon rings on the cylinder face. Almost.

Nice gun, They carry well. Once you get the DA trigger stroke down, they shoot well too. Modern 38 ammo has come a long way and renders some confidence

A close relative, a 60-15 in 3" is often the last thing I grab before I leave home.
Arthritis made the feather-lites a chore to practice with but the extra weight of a solid revlolver helps. It has a very good trigger and is accurate.

I have one of the last blued Ladysmith's to come off the line before the lock. That and my old 3 inch 64 are my two favorite revolvers.

That was the very first firearm I have ever fired in my life. My uncle purchased one and took me to the range when I was maybe 9 years old.

The smell of Hoppes#9 while cleaning that gun brings back a lot of memories.

I always ask him if he would ever sell it to me, but nope.
