| You can also use P226 mags in these frames. Flush fit 13 round factory, or 15 round MecGar in the gun, 20 round reload in the mag carrier. Nice.

| Offhand, I’m not sure why CDNN separately lists that “elite custom”. Prior to that listing, they already had a listing for the Talo Classic Carry. Seems to be the same except for, perhaps, differences in the overall package and pricing.
By the way, the trash stamp on the slide top is not as bad as it seems. I’ve been really happy with my 226 Classic Carry. I hardly notice the stamp. I didn’t like the styling of those grips and replaced them with black checkered Hogues, but the CC grips were very good - style notwithstanding. |

The guy behind the guy
| OG 229, back before they started screwing with the 229 to have parts commonality with other stuff.
No rail, short extractor, original 9mm grip...that was “To Hell and Back” Sig. I miss those days. That’s a fair price imo. Usually I would say Sig’s metal pistols are way over priced, but that one makes sense. |

| Elite Custom, Classic Carry, it's the same GD gun. I can't believe they pull bullshit, giving it different names like that. No differences. And, as stated above, sometimes you get lucky you get one with the skeletonized hammer. Regarding the circular SIG logo, it's just plain ugly. It doesn't belong anywhere on the gun, be it the slide, frame, or grips. Fugly.

| Thought about getting one of these after seeing the price but decided that the HK P2000SK serves my purpose just as well - while saving my funds for something different.
That logo looks ugly. Now if this was a true German P228 - then that would be a different story. |

Just out of curiosity, what is the advantage of the skeletonized hammer? This is the first factory SIG I've seen with one (but I'm also a bit behind the curve these days) |
