I have both the 238 and 938. The 238 came with a Hogue grip and I love it. My 938 came with G10's. Although the G10's are nice grips, I changed them out for the Hogue grip. In my opinion, the Hogue grips are more practical and give me better control over the gun. What do you think?

When you say Hogue grip I assume you mean Hogue rubber grip. Hogue also makes G10 grips in 3 different styles. Piranha, Checkered, and Chain Link. Of the 3 all my Sig's wear the Piranha's.

My other Sig is a Steyr. |
Checkered aluminum on the P238 for me. Shop around and you can find the Sig branded grips made by Houge in the material of your choosing.

Yes, I was referring to the hogue rubber grips. The G10's are nice. It just seems like it fits in my hand soo much better. The thicker sides let me get a better grip. I'm the checked one's do the same thing. Just wanted to see what the group thought. Thank you for your reply

Hogue rubber grips does feel nice and help absorb recoil. But they are rubber and will get caught or hung up on clothes and such. I prefer g10. I preferred the pirahna grips followed by the checkered.
