I can’t speak directly to the Shadow 2, but I’m now hooked on CZ. I started with a CZ-75B Omega in Feb 2018, then was looking at the Shadow 2 in Dec 2018, but it was a little too spendy for me, so I bought the CZ-75 SP-01 Tactical instead in Jan or Feb 2019, and then a few weeks ago picked up a CZ-75 P-01 Omega. They are all great shooters, with excellent ergonomics. I just ordered VZ grips for all three guns today.

I’m still planning to acquire a Shadow 2 at some point. All I’ve heard about them has been good.

The CZ 75 and derivatives, like the Compact, PCR, and P01 do kind of. The full sized will fit in the compact, but not the reverse. The target guns look like they may have longer grips, at least some of them, and I believe they use a similar but longer mag. The polymer framed guns use a different type mag. The line is pretty varied, if you have specific questions the CZ forum is helpful.

I have a Shadow 2, along with three other CZ 75's. I have never had any type of problem with any of them. (One is an original "Made in Czechoslovakia" version that I purchased in 1989.) The Shadow 2 is a real tack driver, and shoots much better than I do.

More than good to go.

If you really want to jump in the deep end grab a Tac Sport Orange. Ruined most other handguns for me. Closest comparison I could give is a Sig German Mastershop gun.

I've got a P-01 and a P-06 they both feel great in my hands fit like a glove. They are both reliable and accurate. Have several thousand rounds thru both of them without so much as a single hiccup.

The Shadows are all the rage at pistol matches. They're highly regarded by the people running them.

Yes they are.

Mine is nothing short of amazing. The one thing I struggle with constantly is making the gun go where I look. I spend a lot of time in dry fire working on it. The Shadow is the ONLY pistol that just sort of "shows up" where I'm looking without much problem. Fast follow up shots are easy.

The Apex kit I have gives me a prepable trigger to where each CGW kit I have ever shot gives a light glass rod that as soon as you put your finger on the trigger to prep it, the gun goes off. No thanks.

The CZ75 and Shadow 2 pistols are awesome. Very accurate for a stock pistol and a ton of aftermarket support to make them more to your liking. Nothing I don't like about my CZs.

I really liked the gun. A friend had one that he let me shoot. The trigger reach was a tad too long for me.

Yep, I too have a Shadow 2 and put in the Apex kit. Mine has been converted to single action only, but the kit is still really nice.

McGar 17rd and 19rd mags work great too and cheaper than factory.

Comp-Tac, LS Holsters, Shook Customs and Red Hill Tactical all make holsters for it.

I’m still playing with springs, but I’ve found I like the 14lb recoil spring. I also like the reduced power trigger return spring. I put in a 13lb main spring for the hammer and it helped a ton with the double action. It has been 100% reliable with Winchester primered reloads and even Blazer Brass factory ammo.

I also picked up a Tactical Sports Orange in 40S&W, it’s even better.

My friend bought one, and we were at the range the other day. It is the most accurate pistol I have ever fired. Literally the smallest group I have made in my life. smooth trigger, good weight, nice balance.

Love my CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical. Easily as accurate as my Walther PPQ, and my P99 and so smooth to shoot.
