Does anyone know of a source for a reasonably priced +2 or +3 round mag extension for a P226 40S&W FACTORY magazine?
I know MegGar has them but they are for their mags only and do not work on a Sig mag. The mag will not seat.
Apex has them, but they cost as much as a new mag.

There has to a dozen manufacturers out there, this platform has been around for something close to 30 years now

I think I bought some +5s from Alpha, but that was 15-20 years ago

I bought some of the X5 +2s in black for my tactical, but I do not recall who the importer was. Again we are talking 10+ years ago

I would go to the big parts distributor's Website (like MidwauyUSA) and search their inventories

I have the apex +4 extensions, yes they cost more than you’d think they would. They are approx $38 on Midway right now. I think I bought mine on sale a few years back and maybe saved a buck or two. To put things in perspective, Taran Tactical makes many mag extensions for Glocks and they range from approx $30-$55 depending on the model.

The MecGar mag extensions will fit on Sig magazines but the combination will not seat in my pistol even with the stock grips.
For a little more than a high priced extension, I guess I’ll just buy some more extended mags
