I started with nothing, and still have most of it |
...I bought the P225 Polizei that I inquired about on another thread this same page. It was NIB and I test fired it today with 40 rounds, some 115g ball, 115g HP, and 124g HP. It was flawless, except for the weak extraction. All hulls traveled just inches, about 80% of them hit me. Mainly in the hands and arms, but one to the face and one actually ended up in my shirt pocket. Two even went to the left, and two went to the front without first hitting me. I haven't had this problem before with any of my Sigs, what do you think? "While not every Democrat is a horse thief, every horse thief is a Democrat." HORACE GREELEY

Ya got her lubed up real good? Is it doing it with only the weak ammo or all of it?

Got it lubed like all my other classic Sigs, which are several. Did it will all the ammo, both range and personal defense. I see no dents in the hulls, and no signs of the hulls hitting around the ejection port. "While not every Democrat is a horse thief, every horse thief is a Democrat." HORACE GREELEY

I would pull the grips and take a look at the mainspring, hammer strut and hammer to ensure they are not dirty or binding, which may reduce slide velocity. Then make sure the proper recoil spring is in the gun, in case it has been swapped out for an extra power spring. The ejector needs to be checked out too. I wouldnt be surprised that someone had messed around with the gun to try and alter or reduce its "euro spec" trigger pull. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles
