How to modify a Fobus holster for better results:
Step 1: Prepare your workspace, including making sure you have proper gloves and eye protection.
Step 2: Using a saw, cutoff wheel, or other cutting implement, cut the Fobus in half.
Step 3: Put the two halves of the Fobus in the trash can.
Step 4: Buy a better quality holster.
We're living in the golden age of high quality holster availability. There's no need to resort to stuff like a Fobus or Uncle Mikes when you can get a significantly higher quality kydex holster shipped to your door for ~$20 more, and even higher quality custom leather holsters can be had for just ~$50 more.
You just spent $500+ on a quality handgun... Why resort to shoving it in the absolute cheapest holster you can find?

A good quality kydex holster ordered. Waiting…waiting…waiting….. Needed a holster soon for an assignment. Fobus available right now. Use it until the better one finally comes in. Then regulated to the tote of un-wanted holsters.
