Where To Acquire Replica Six-Shooter? Login/Join

Many moons ago I had a replica Colt SAA. Made of pot metal, IIRC. Inside of the barrel was filled. But the hammer cocked, the cylinder turned, the trigger pulled and the hammer dropped. I used it for display purposes and a Halloween costume. I don't recall it being very expensive.

Place I was living at was broken-into and it was stolen.

Now I'm thinking of doing Halloween. I have everything I need except a replica six-shooter. So the question is: From where can I acquire one reasonably economically?

Thanks for the lead, BigSwede. I see several, there, that are possibilities.

I do need a somewhat narrow cylinder for the costume holster I have. E.g.: My Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt fits, but only kind of more-or-less.

CH44: eBay dropped the ball on me, lately. First time I ever needed them to come through for me with a problem. So I'm kinda sorta trying to avoid fleaBay to the extent possible, now.

I seem to recall that Smokey Mountain Knife Works carried some of these.

Thanks for the responses, everybody.

I decided to pass on the expense. I've Other Things upon which I need/wish to spend money, right now, and ±$100 for a replica six-shooter, that won't even be seen under my duster, is gonna have to wait. Maybe next Halloween?

If you're feeling bold, buy yourself a nice single action pistol and lead slug the cylinders and bore at the muzzle; paint the slugs red so everyone can see it's non-functional. Then de-slug and shoot the other 364 days of the year and 365 once every 4 years Big Grin

Why not just go to a toy store and buy one?
