zdog16New sibling for MP5 SP10A3 10Mirrrimeter
Got a new sibling for my MP5 clone MAC5k. SP10a3 in 10mm! This thing freaking ROCKS! Full power 10mm is a joy to shoot with the roller delayed system. It's like an MP5 on steroids. Might be my favorite firearm purchase EVER!

Which would you choose for home defense?
Stribog SP10A3 in 10mm or
Classic MP5 both suppressed.Stribog SP10A3MP5

VMI 1991Thanks for posting! I am looking at getting one as well. Which suppressor do you use? Were you able to get any extra mags?

Dwill104TBH, I think 10mm is better supersonic. Subsonic ammo is pretty expensive, and supers aren’t really worth suppressing IMHO. I have a CMMG 10mm that I left the factory linear comp on instead of putting on a suppressor mount. My take is that if you want a large caliber to suppress, .45 is a better option. YMMV.
My vote would be for the MP5.

I only use supersonic in 10mm. Suppressing is just for signature reduction. It's like shooting suppressed 5.56. It ain't exactly quiet but it does take the bite off. If I choose to go subsonic I just use the lower powered stuff. I mainly use believe it or not Sig 180gr @1250fps training and defensive ammo. Pretty good stuff at a decent price. Also Underwood and Buffalo Bore. Just about all the other loads are loaded weak.

flesheatingvirusMP5. Quieter, less recoil, cheaper to practice with. Plus, you have the H&K slap in place of the shotgun chack-chack.
