Hello all, I have a couple of questions for you. I recently got a P226 XFIVE and noticed Sig.com doesn’t offer much in the xfive parts department. So my questions are 1-is the xfive and the legion completely different? 2-do the parts in the Legion fit or are the same on the xfive? 3- are the front sights interchangeable ? Exactly the same. Can I purchase regular 226 front sight and install them on the xfive 4-is the xfive optic foot print only for a Romeo? Thank you.

The core components are the same only in a 5 inch P226. Front sights are the same and most parts fit from the SAO models (triggers probably won't). The optic cut does have a hole pattern for an RMR style, but there's nothing except the screws holding the optic on while the Romeo 1Pro/2 will fit snug in the cut. You can always buy an optic plate that works with the P320 XFIVE to give the RMR extra support and/or buy a plate that also comes with a rear sight as well.

My optic cut doesn’t have a pivot rod or your setup. My has 2 screws, that you unscrew, from underneath the slide. I’m assuming the holes are the same. My front sight is dovetail but it has a notch in the slide that it sits in. It doesn’t look like you simply push it in, since the notch is recessed. Thank you

What airbubba shows is the German gun. Yours is the US made gun. They are different. Q

I know mine is made in the US. Not sure why you thought I said it was German made?

He didn't, but he is saying the mount that airbubba posted was for the German X5. He never said you had a German gun. This would be the type of plate you're looking for if you wanted to add a rear sight to your X5: https://chpws.com/product/sig-...e-w-10-8-rear-sight/

I never "thought" anything of the sort. Just pointing that the German Xgun is not the same as the US made one. Q

Honestly, it would be a fair assumption that your X-Five was 'Made in Germany' considering they were manufactured in Eckernförde for approx. 10 years beginning around 2009, while the 'Made in America' P226 X-Five was introduced in October 2022, and has only been around for FOUR Months! Yeah, his original post just said "P226 XFIVE", so nobody would have known what he has, German or US. Only when he descibed his rear sight mounting sytem in the subsequent post above that I know his gun is NH made. Q
