Handled one guy's p320 AXG scorpion at the range. Feels very comfy in the hand, but the trigger was like 2 lbs. How do you carry this thing? I was looking over the web, there is no AXG with manual safety available. I am thinking why not? I'd buy an AXG frame with manual safety. Or even better an aluminum frame for P365, also with manual safety. Sig should consider these options.

Indeed, it was 2 lbs, that's too light to carry. Although, a manual safety is 1 too many switches to flip for a carry gun. Ultimately I think the safety on any striker fired gun comes down to discipline + the quality of your holster.

With a 2 pound trigger, one might be forgiven for preferring to treat the pistol like a cocked-and-locked 1911. A good holster would still be critical, IMHO.

2-lb trigger on the AXG Scorpion? Somebody has been doing work on it. No chance that was factory set.

The OEM FCU is used across the board in all the P320s. The trigger pull is more than 2 pounds unless someone has changed the sear and or sear springs.

I’ve got 4 320s, X5 Legion, Scorpion, and two CW FCUs. I have not done any work lightening any of them. My X5 is just under 3lbs, the Scorpion is just over 3lbs, and the two CW FCUs are right about 3.5lbs. One of the CW FCUs was built on an AXG frame and I have trained enough on it to feel comfortable carrying though I have yet to do so.

OK, we were shooting on Sunday with the same guy with the AXG Scorpion on the range. Suddenly his gun goes full-auto, the RO jumps in and tells him to leave immediately. He complied. I do not know what he did to the trigger, but clearly it was something. Anyway, light-trigger P320 needs to have a manual safety for any practical use. I've been trained on Glocks for many years and the trigger safety does the trick. Gun with no safety is no good, no matter what holster you use.

I have 3 different 320s: FS 9mm, X Compact and .45 MS Compact. In all three the triggers are about 5.5 pounds. I would not be comfortable with anything less than 4 pounds, give the 320s design. YMMV.

AB Prototype will modify AXG frames for manual safety FCU's but it doesn't look quite right to me because of the design of the grip and grip panels.

Mr. F.A. probably put in lightened sear spring and/or lighter trigger return spring.

Only thing I do to a P320 is felt-wheel polish the striker hook with Flitz. Cleans up the creep.

Everyone has their own threshold on this issue. But I would personally consider all of those to be unsafe for serious work in the configuration of the 320.

Sounds about right to me. As long as your pistol functions properly and doesn't fire until the trigger is pressed everything else is a person issue, not a trigger issue.

Yup those .25-.5lb competition triggers are super duper good on your defensive pistol.

My two Custom Works FCU's both measure about 3.5-4 lbs with a Lyman digital gauge at the bottom of the trigger flat just where the little lip is.
