Brian87So where is the P210 carry?
Announced in last year shot show (2020!)
In 2021 Sig Catalog. So when can we expect to see it at dealers?

p08You know thinking about buying what will surely be a $1300+ pistol for CCW does not make sense to me. I bought a Dan Wesson Guardian to carry. It was $1,300 at the time. A very nice gun, but then I thought what happens to it if I have to use it? It will go into an evidence room in whatever condition it was taken from me and left to be damaged or worse yet pilfered by a crooked copper.it was then that I decided a $450 polymer pistol is the better choice!

Brian87The way I look at it, I want quality pieces that I can eventually pass down to my sons. That’s my interest in the P210. I may just go get a 5” standard model. I do have a Glock 19 for “kicking around” sort of my truck gun.

DakorIt's been 3 months since this topic has arisen... curious whether we'll even see the gun this year, regardless of it being included in Sig's 2021 catalog.

Il CattivoHope springs eternal, but metal prices keep going up and open jobs are still going begging.

FredwardIt’s been a tough year for everyone. Maybe patience is in order. And really, what are the odds of your gun being seized, rusting in evidence of getting stolen by a cop?

Il Cattivorambo, I can't seem to get you to the right page through a link, but it's on pages 36-37 of SIG's 2021 catalogue.

If it ends up in evidence then it probably saved your life so the possibility that you might lose $850 wouldn't probably be much of a concern.
I do agree with you that I don't like expensive all metal guns for CCW because they are heavy to carry, don't typically carry many rounds and they are going to get beat up in an every day carry situation.

That's about word for word what my CCW class instructor said to us. Makes a certain amount of sense on an intellectual level, and I do have a G17 or G26 I can carry, but I prefer carrying a Sig. I've got a bunch of them so if I lose it, I lose it.

rburgIts why I usually buy a 2nd one. If I need to use it in a life or death situation, I use it. Whats your life worth? If its less than $1400, then buy the clunker and carry it. If its worth more than that to you, buy the very best gun you can afford. If ammo is too expensive to practice, then just die instead of burning it up. Doesn't make sense, does it?

ShackelfordI don’t get these complaints. If, God forbid, I have to use a gun in self-defense, then $1,300 is the least of my worries. Plus, if this thing gets impounded, I have another gun at home and can make due with that.

That's pretty interesting looking. I can't imagine carrying it instead of something with higher capacity.
