I don’t care how you spend your money. I’ve wasted my share of money before so I can’t throw that stone. I’m just surprised at how happy you are about this “deal”.

I’m glad your mags are awesome.

A piece of fine sand paper, Birchwood Casey liquid gun blue, and new springs. Should be good to go after 10 minutes.

Here’s brand new, 15 rounders for $23.

TGS is OOS on those, but has the nickel.

No worries about sanding, steel wool, evaporust removing what finish there is, whether the springs are good, not to mention your time in hourly wage. Plus the extra two rounds.

This. Mec-Gar is my go to for Sig mags and Greg Cote and Top Gun Supply are more than good to go. During Freedom Week I picked up a couple of the nickel ones as they didn’t have the blued that I was looking for. Turns out the nickel wears better (less) and if it is concealed it doesn’t matter what color it is. Now I feel like an idiot for not buying more when I had the chance...

I picked up 10. They're fine. Some slight pitting/rusting but nothing like those photos. Great magazines for training in crappy conditions/surfaces.

I guess I do it all wrong. I don’t go out and buy training mags. I just buy mags. And then I buy spare mags. I would say I then rotate or fix my broken mags but honestly in my lifetime I haven’t broken very many mags. I’ve changed springs, I’ve changed followers even. If tube is bad it’s done for me.

I typically have 5-10 mags per any heavy use gun and a similar amount of spares that remain in their plastic. Range mag, training mag, real no shit mag. They are all the same. It’s the best way to figure out if you are going to have issues with your carry mag is to actually use them.

I wonder if the guy who gets the box with the left hand mag is as happy as you guys? Last time I bought a gun (police trade in) under these conditions I was sorely disappointed. Argued with seller and compromised on getting a refund down to the lower grades. I finally just sold them both last month and glad to be done with them. (They were the Swiss police trade in P228, some were great mine were shitty, rattling, hard used, refinished guns. Ugh). It all comes down to price. At a cheaper price I would have been happy with condition. These mags should have been a bag full for 20 bucks. Not 10 apiece. That’s nuts. If this was 1994 and it was this or nothing I would jump all over this. Except it’s not.
