Anyone know of an on-line source for a 226 slide, already cut? I know sigsauer.com has the Legion optic ready slide in stock for $349.99 but I'd be just as happy with a standard or Elite at a few dollars cheaper.

From the prices on Gunbroker and a couple others, $349 seems to be the cheapest from Sig.

How about posting a WTB in the classifieds to see what might be available.

Not 100% certain (because I'm not part of "THE LEGION") but right now you can get 20% off your all items in your SIG shopping cart if you buy 20 boxes of ammo as part of your order. Doesn't spare you from spending more money, but if you were also thinking about restocking on a bunch of V-Crown HPs or other SIG-branded ammo it's not a bad deal.

The part I'm not sure about is whether the Legion slide is excluded; there's a caveat that appears to say that 'LEGION' is excluded, which could imply that any Legion-marked stuff is not part of the discount program. And since I'm not worthy 'cause I ain't part of no dang Legion...as a consequence I don't have the appropriate Legion account that would allow me to add the slide in question into the SIG Store shopping cart.
