72BruinsDoes Anyone Make A Drop-In .40SW Or .357sig Barrel For P229-1?
Would love to have the option to use my new P229 RX conversion slide with a caliber other than 9mm.
Thanks in advance for any input or info! (Also love the look of the RX with the +2 SCT mags)

GP229Either would require a different slide assembly as the breech face would be wider to accommodate them.
The way to do it is to start off with a P229 in .40. That way you can just swap barrels to shoot .357 Sig, or pick up a conversion barrel to shoot 9mm.

I don’t think you understood my question. I would like to use the RX slide (P229-1) with a .40 or .357sig barrel, so that I don’t have to have my .40/.357 slide milled to accept the Romeo 1.

GaryBFNo can do, the breech face is too small.

Try seating a .40 case against the breech face of your 9mm slide and you'll see what we are talking about.
