flesheatingvirusSweet! What make is it? You going to SBR it? My SP5K is one of my favorite shooters. My lower selector markings are just for looks; what about yours? Have you fired it suppressed with subsonic ammo yet? Suppressed roller delayed blowbacks are hard to beat.
Get more magazines!!

copaupSometimes no words are necessary...
I recently SBRd a SP5 and it has rapidly become my favorite firearm and suppressor host. Only issue is the cost of magazines. One day my wife is going to look in the case and start adding up just how much the SP5, stamps, can, fixed and collapsable stocks, and magazines cost and I'm going to be in deep trouble.
But damn if it doesn't make me grin every time I take it to the range.

VaftocrThis post sparked something for me. Do most consider that a pistol? If thee is a legal definition of a pistol is it a gun fired with one hand?
I would not view this as a pistol but I see how it is one technically. I know I can’t win a debate on it but to me, it’s something in between.

cslingerBy federal law no stock, less then 16 inch barrel, no foregrip, and the receiver “papered” as a pistol makes it a pistol. (Semi auto of course).
Once you put a stock on it, it becomes (must be registered as an SBR. Foregrip only and I believe it’s becomes and must be registered as an AOW).
Gun at the bottom picture would have been registered as an SBR as well as having the can registered separately, so $200 tax stamp for the gun and $200 tax stamp for the can. Foregrip doesn’t matter since the gun would have already been registered as an SBR.
Now “braces” don’t count as stocks……….unless they do………..or it’s a Monday during the solstice……it all gets convoluted.

cslingerAs an aside real MP5’s / MP5SD’s are my absolute favorite full autos to shoot but I’ve never shot an HK94/SP5/other semi auto clone. Since most of the time full auto is money to noise fast I would assume those are just about as fun to shoot. Enjoy.

patwThose are cool. At first I couldn't tell if it was the real deal or a clone.
