Wide Meplat in Sig P320 X-Ten and X-Ten Comp Login/Join

I have both an X-ten and a X-Ten Comp and am having serious failure to feed problems with wide Meplat heavy loads. Specifically, Grizzly 200 gr. hard cast, Underwood 200 gr. and 220 gr. hardcast and Buffalo Bore 220 gr. hardcast. So far, I have tried, heavier recoil springs, heavier magazine springs with no improvement and most recently polished the feed ramp and was able to feed a full 15 rd. magazine of Underwoord 220 gr. hardcast before I began to experience failure to feed on the next magazine. Open to any suggestions and thanks in advance!

That would be great. So far Sig and Underwood have not been much help with ideas so I appreciate any insight you might be able to provide!

You wouldn't be the first and you won't be the last person complaining about polymer frame 10mm pistols having operational problems.
I have a Sig P220 in 10mm and it has never failed to feed, fire, extract, reload. Every single time.
It eats any 10mm ammo I have fired in it without any problems.
Sell your P320 models, get a Glock 20 or Sig P220 in 10mm.
As a non-Glock owner, for me that's a solid recommendation.

I've run the gamut in 10mm pistols. Colt Delta Elite 1911. Smith and Wesson 1026 and 1076.
Those above are long gone, the SIG P220 Elite in 10mm just simply runs.

Due to the power level in the hot loaded 10mm, slide mass, slide velocity, magazine spring strength, and dozens of other engineering challenges all need to be perfect for proper operation.
I don't personally believe the SIG 320 and the Smith & Wesson polymer frame 10mm pistols have the reliability that someone requires for large / dangerous animal self protection.
I guess what I am saying is that while the large capacity with the P320 and the Smith and Wesson 10mm pistols is great, if you can't depend on the pistol firing every single time you pull the trigger,
that eight plus one capacity in the P220 10mm looks really great. Or buy the Glock 20 if you really feel that you need the capacity.

I also have a Ruger Blackhawk single action revolver in 10mm. That also has never malfunctioned.
Sorry that I don't have better news / recommendations.

Are these hard cast rounds (Underwood, Buffalo Bore, Grizzly) outside SAAMI spec?

Thanks, If the current actions don't resolve it, that is the direction I will have to head. Just disappointed in Sig at the moment.
