I’m very interested in the optics ready model, and they’re more attractively priced these days more than ever. Please share your experiences, pros and cons, length of ownership, etc. I’ve owned several G19s in every generation since 3, and I’m just wondering if the CZ really is an improvement over the old tried and true.

I think the ergos are better than all the competition's striker pistols. My hands are average size.
Accuracy potential is excellent.
Best stock trigger, imho, in striker pistols under $1K
Cons include a Stiff ejector button and the texture is VERY aggressive. I did a little light sanding on mine.
I kept mine for a couple of years and got rid of it for no good reason.
The prices these days are so low.

I like my P10c, fits me well, accurate and is my nightstand pistol. I put Talon rubber wrap grips and for me it was an improvement.

I’m a big fan of the platform and most CZ’s as well. I have a P-10c that EDC occasionally. Also use a P-10F for my bedside gun. I took a weekend Fieldcraft handgun class with it and had no issues. Solid pieces.

If you want a Glock 19 with better ergos, the p10c fits the bill.

CZ has not made an announcement yet, but there apparently was a gen 2 p10 prototype on the range at SHOT show. The gen 2 apparently has a manual safety and uses a modular frame like a p320 or Masada. Who knows as to the timeline of when that will be available, but it could be why CZ is liquidating current p10c inventory.

Gripes: optic ready RMR pattern plates are almost never in stock anywhere in CONUS. Magazines cost more than factory Glock mags. Other than that, at current prices the p10c is tough to beat.

With the HK magazine promo, you can get very close in price with a non-optic ready VP9 right now.

See if you can find one at a rental range. I tried one and it was fine but preferred my Glock 19. It was taller than my Glock 19 by a bit and the trigger reach was too short for me. I liked shooting the CZ P07 much more than the P10C but that is hammer fired pistol. FWIW I also liked shooting the M&P 2.0 Compact 9MM more than the P10C and I see those at pretty good prices too from time to time.

P-10C grip and tang are a little longer than G19's. It's sort of in-between the size of a G19 and G45.

If you want to mount a RDS, I've read/heard a lot of complaints about CZ's OR design. The OR models don't come w/ any mounting plates. OEM plates are hard to find and expensive when you do find them. On top of that, owners report the plates don't work well. I'm convinced that if you want to mount a RDS on a P10, you're better off spending $100 or so to get it custom milled.

As someone who owns a P-10C and various 9mm Glocks, including G19s and has shot them side-by-side, I wouldn't describe the P-10 as an improvement, so much as I'd describe it as an equivalent. Where the P-10 knocks it out of the park is in 'gun per dollar' value. They're readily available for a little over $300, so if for anyone mildly interested, they're affordable for a spare gun.

Not even close. Canik and Walther take the lead in that dept.

Went to my local shop and didn’t find any P10s there, but I did get to handle the new SA Echelon. I’m so glad I was able to at least put one in my hands. I just thought it was just a run of the mill polymer striker gun. All the GunTubers were singing praises about the trigger and I actually thought a stock gen 5 Glock trigger had a crisper break. The weight was definitely lighter on the echelon, but boy was it mushy as all heck. It broke with a lite thud instead of a snap. I’ll keep looking for a P10c.

Thank you for all the feedback thus far, it’s much appreciated.

I bought the OR P10C several months ago (July) when they were cheap ($350). Still haven’t found a plate I’m willing to buy. Haven’t even shot the pistol yet.

I shot a buddy’s back in 2022. It shot well enough, but I have big hands and my finger tip got pinched behind the trigger. Hopefully, large grip panels will help with that. Speaking of grips, the CZ may give FN a run for their money on who’s got more texture.

If it weren’t for the price, I’d probably not bought one.

The P10C was not on my radar until PSA had them for $300 last summer. It’s a well built gun and the ergos are excellent. Sights are decent, though I’m not a 3 dot fan as much these days. Mine has been 100% reliable and quite accurate. All that said, I still prefer my G19 gen 5 and Glock in general, mostly because I’m 20 years invested into the Glock platform.

I'd give that award to M&P M2.0.
