It’s the old style, but Wolff list a serial number lower than mine for these. Wasn’t sure if there was a 3rd style. One between the old BDA guns and the new plastic cap base guns. Watch & Pray

Since your gun uses the spurred hammer (with its corresponding strut) that means pre-93/94, despite the gun being a ‘95 serial, I’ll venture a guess that you go with the main spring for the “P-220 West German/German MFG with serial numbers below G219166”. This serial number points to pre-93/94. Q

Not really related to the thread, but more to your point here. About 10 years ago I ran into a guy that worked a gun counter. Probably in his 40's. He was ADAMANT that the Gen 2 Glock 23 in .40 S&W that he carried was made in 1986, when Glocks first started showing up. I said that I was 100% positive that a serial number look up, and the fact that .40 S&W wasn't commercially available until 1990 would prove him incorrect. An internet search would have easily refuted him. He would not budge, even claiming his Glock 23 was a "prototype." It was at that moment I realized ego was intersecting with psychosis.
