Last fall, I purchased an X-Carry (my first striker). However, I cannot seem to get comfortable or shoot acceptable groups with it. (where I shoot my 229 in 3 inch groups, the X-Carry is closer to 6 or 7 at the same distance) It feels like I'm holding a 2X4 and my hand actually get tired after 75 rounds or so. I would describe my hands and med/large. I am planning on trying a different grip module and am curious if anyone else has experienced trouble with the X-Carry grip and moved to another, and if so, which one, and did you notice any improvement? I am currently contemplating a full size medium. I have not had the opportunity to wrap my hands around any other samples other than a standard compact. thank you in advance The most effective safety is between your ears

The P320 grips' feel is more subjective to the personal comfort than to the objective contours of the grip. I am very happy with the X-Carry and X-Compact grips; and, by the way, several weeks ago I took my P229-.40 with my P320-.40 (with GGI grip) to the range just to confirm my love for the Ole-all metal P series pistols. Even though I absolutely love the P229 et al, The p320 won the day, at least with me. Try other grips, such as Talon Grips, Wilson Combat grips and GGI grips, or take a dermal to the Sig P320 grip and fashion it to your comfort..

I've found myself more accurate with my X-compact (medium grip) and SC slide than with my X-carry. What sights do you have? I've found that when I put the X-Carry (3.9") slide on my X-compact frame that the accuracy is comparable to the accuracy on the X-carry frame. The X-carry has X-rays and the other slide has sig lights.

I currently have the X-rays. I have not installed the Romeo yet, as I wanted to establish a baseline before trying out an optic. The most effective safety is between your ears

It sounds like the standard med X carry frame doesn't work well for you. I can run them, but I much prefer the compact, or a small X carry grip. The biggest issue I have with the X carry grip is where the web of the hand sits. The X carry frame flares out in this area. I run thumbs tight and forward and the x carry frame doesn't work well for me with this. I can't get my thumb close against the frame. I have modified a couple of my x Carry frame by removing material in that area. The small x compact frame is a bit better, but the x compact frame isn't an issue because this area doesn't have the same flared area. I am able to get a solid thumb against the frame and achieve more control. My personal choice going forward with the 320 is the new Wilson Combat 320 frame. It is carry capacity, 17 rounds, and takes the best of the standard and X frames and combines them into one. Plus at $65, that is a good value. The X Compact works more better for me as well.. The modified X Frame. You can see the area where I removed material to make it thinner. I also took off some of the ridiculously long beavertail. This frame won't have that issue either. Thanks for the info Texaspoff. Respondents are giving me the confidence to fire up the dremel, especially knowing that if I screw it up, there are viable replacements. That Wilson module looks like the bee's knees. The most effective safety is between your ears

I’d recommend trying the slide with an X-compact or smaller X carry to see if it’s actually the grip.

While I never had a 320-X, I have had a 320 and bought the "small" grip module for it. I have somewhat large mitts and the small module gave a similar feel to a Glock 19,in diameter anyway. It made a huge difference for me. I would assume the small "X" grip modules would give a similar feel overall if you can get one.
