Hello,

I recently purchased a Sig P320 X-Five Legion.

Don't have any plans to customize it as of yet, but I may be missing out on something.

For those who have one already, what changes have you made to it that you thought made it better?

What changes do you think I should avoid?

Here is an obligatory pic:

Thanks.

The Sig MAX red dot is amazing.
I added magazine extensions so they hold 23 rounds now.
I did a trigger job, I think Gray Guns, but it is so light now it’s kinda scary.

Still the most accurate pistol I’ve ever shot. I’m getting another but the DH3 model, and just adding an Eotech Eflx red dot.

The only thing I did to mine was add a Gray Guns trigger with an over travel adjustment screw and an R1 Pro optic. My trigger was right at 2 lbs out of the box. It’s a fun gun to shoot and quite accurate for its price point and what it is.

Congrats on your new pistola!

My opinion is the X5 is just fantastic and at its price point a real bargain.

I have been shooting mine as my main blaster for 2-3 IDPA matches per month and have just started shooting a local bowling pin match.

The first thing I did was slap a Trijicon SRO on it and order some extra mags along with Talon grips soon after.

I thought the stock trigger was pretty good and just accepted as is but wondered if it could be improved on. I always find myself always looking at the new shinny so to keep myself from buying more guns I really don't need I started looking at new trigger options.

After watching a bunch of YouTube vids I purchased THE SIG ARMORER competition kit in a bag. www.thesigarmorer.com/product/...with-cradle-trigger/

Watching the install vid all the parts go in pretty easy. I was really not expecting how much better the trigger is now. Short take up, got rid of the mushy break with a shorter reset.

I am really digging on it now and will be champagning it through at least next year.

I did a Grey Guns trigger and added a Romeo 2 with circle dot reticle. Mine was terrible in the accuracy department at first. 6-8" at 15 yds. Squeezed and refit the FCU rails, and its gtg now.No further changes planned.
I would post a picture but it appears this site only allows pictures hosted somewhere.

I changed the grip frame to a Small Legion TXG frame. Fits a lot better as the standard Medium grip frame is a bit too big. The P320-XFive-DH3 also uses a small grip frame.

To clean up the stock trigger, pull the striker out of the slide and polish the striker tang that engages the sear. I use a felt wheel and red polishing compound followed by felt wheel with Flitz. Really just shines and slicks it up a bit. Trigger is smoother and less creepy.

I put the heavier of the two springs in it. 14 lb I think.

I would put some Talon grips on. That TXG frame has the same grip as a bar of soap.
