I stumbled on a very minty JE date coded, 3 serial number, prefix U114xxx, P226 yesterday. I have wanted a West German P226 for years. I know it's not unfired but, it appears to have been fired very little. There's little to no wear on the rails and what wear there is looks more like handling marks from manually cycling the pistol. It came in a yellow factory cardboard box, serialized to the gun with one magazine. It's missing the test target and hang tag but, has the owners manual. My question is what else should be in the box? Did the pistols only come with one magazine back 33 years ago? I have two W. German P225's (KA and KC codes) and a 1996 P220 with the peened over "W." However none of them came with their original box so I don't know what they shipped with. Thanks in advance for any insight. | ||
