I'm interested in a new VP9. The VP9 and P30 rentals that I have shot, and the two P2000SK's that I own, all require sight image #3 shown below.

I prefer sights that allow for image #2, but when I use this hold with HKs they shoot low. Are there any VP9 sight options that enable you to use sight image #2? I'm looking for tritium night sights and also suppressor height night sights.

For my Sigs I simply change from a #6 front sight to a #8 front sight to get sight image #2 but I don't see those sort of options for HK sights.

I put these Heinie suppressor-height night sights on my P30L (says they are also for the 45, 45C, P30 and VP9).

They shoot correctly with sight image #2 from your graphic, but sight image #3 isn't exactly the same because they're one-dot-above-one-dot sights rather than one-dot-between-two-dots sights. I haven't tried shooting to the top dot.

As an aside, the P30L with the Heinie tall sights, a Ti-Rant 9, and the HKParts 30 round extended magazines is giggle-inducing.

Thanks, so it looks like Heinie has an options for suppressor height if you can get used to their unique configuration.

Can anybody comment on if these Trijicon HD or TruGlo TFX sights use sight image #2 or #3?

Check out Dawson sights. They have a perfect impact guarantee. If they don't hit where you want, they'll send you a new sight to fix it.

The HDs zero at distance just like the factory sights do. Tip of the front sight where you want the bullet to go.
