Belatedly, our Christmas dinner "Lobster Colorado" was protected by a P239 in 357 Sig. Four of the five filet were absconded with by various family members before the last one was protected. SWMBO aka my wife aka the Mrs broiled these perfectly. Lobster over filet mignon wrapped in bacon. No, you cannot have the last one.

That does really look good - food and protection. What do you call that, surf and turf and bacon?

I'm going to have to criticize .....

over cooked and way too small of a hunk of beef for me.

Nice plate and pistol though.

Hard to tell overcooked from a picture...and these were quite rare. My wife commented how the angle I chose for the image made the pistol so large and the meat so small. The Lobster Colorado is something she likes to do for special occasions. Broiled in the oven with a "healthy" portion of butter.

The sides were also amazing. Julienned carrots with a toasted almond topping, French-style green beans (for the "kids" home for the dinner, who only ate green beans when young), and steamed small potatoes, cooked in her Instant Pot gift in only 7 minutes.

Anytime you can incorporate three animals into one steak, I'd call that a win.

Looks good from where I'm sitting.
