Is there a gap with the Sig TFO front sight?

Is there a gap with the Sig TFO front sight?

Just installed one of these :

which is the TFO front sight for the P320.
After installation I notice a gap between the front sight and the slide. The space is enough for a piece of paper to slide under very easily.

Is this expected with these sights? I assume it is the case as these tend to be longer than the original front sight and they probably want to ensure it clears the ridge.

Every TFO I've had or seen on other pistols has a very slight gap between the sight and top of the slide.
