Really Hard Question to Answer About the Sig 938-22 Login/Join

I have a 938-22 (standard fix sight version - not the target version) that I got when Sig first released them. It is a really fun little pocket pistol and mine eats any .22lr I feed it.

BUT when I went to field strip it, I had an OMG moment.

I could not find that super tiny Allen wrench I have to use to remove the recoil rod, spring and barrel with.

Does anyone remember the size of that "insanely" small wrench?

I have tried searching online but to no avail.

I know this is like trying to find a needle in a haystack (YES! Pun Intended).

I would try Sigs customer service department, would think they could supply that info.

Good luck!

I used to have a P938-22, and it's been a while, but as I recall it isn't really an Allen wrench. It's just an L-shaped pin that slides into a hole in the guide rod. You could probably use a bent paper clip or anything of roughly the same size and shape. Maybe try a few small Allen wrenches until you find one that fits.

I will try that. Maybe trying a sewing straight pin bent at 90 degrees.

Was the tool originally supplied with the gun? Maybe SIG would sell or even give it to you.
