Giftedly Outspoken
| If that's what it looks like when it shows up, then yes, it needs the recall if that's what you choose. I know some people that never sent theirs in. Choice is yours ( I would send it in).

Thanks, that is the answer I expected. I will send it in, if it is as described. I am mostly interested in the FCU anyway. |

Will do, I have not received it yet and I don’t know the serial #. I should know a lot more Friday afternoon. I will update once it is in hand. Thanks |

Gloom, despair and agony on me.
| If that’s the same gun/serial number it has not been upgraded. I zoomed in and entered the serial number on SIGs website and it confirmed the upgrade hasn’t been done. |

| If you like the trigger Keep it as is, I have an old one with the fat trigger, many rounds, no problems, however I’m not smacking my loaded pistol with a dead blow hammer numerous times either, nor do I drop it loaded on it’s grip at just the right angle, but I’m crazy. |

Trigger seems lighter than other 320’s I own? I will most likely pull the FCU for another project after the recall is done. Been sitting on a shelf since April 2017.
It does not 'need' to go back for the recall/update. That is a choice...

| I have a number of P320's around the house; most of them were pre-upgrade. I was concerned about a reported deterioration in the trigger quality if sent in for the "upgrade." I shot the fist pistol before it was sent in, then shot it when it came back. I couldn't tell a significant difference. The main difference was the clicking when dry firing, and the reset.
As I began sending pistols in for the "upgrade" I'd shoot them before and after, and also alongside others that weren't "upgraded," when the "upgrades" came back. At no point did I find anything to suggest that I'd want to not "upgrade" the pistol.
In the end, I couldn't find a valid reason to not "upgrade." The last one to go in for "upgrade" was a subcompact sitting next to me right now, in an x-compact grip module.
The one thing I have done with all the P320's is replace the triggers with flat triggers (except one my son has now; he prefers the curved trigger).
I liked the trigger prior to the "upgrade." Now, having had it done to each, and having replaced them with flat triggers, I like it more. |
