Is Mec-Gar the only manufacturer of the P228 factory (Sig Sauer marked) 15 round magazines? I have a few and I am looking for a few more, but only ones made by Mec-Gar.
Or you can get them with MecGar stamped on the side instead of SigSauer for $23.95. The finish on the Sig ones looks different, though, and is probably better. I very badly rusted one of the MecGar branded ones in less than a month last summer just carrying it on my belt against my body. It still works but is now a range mag. The ones that I didn't soak in sweat have held up just fine.

All the Mex-Gar mags I’ve used have been solid performers whether Sig branded or not. For the price, non-Sig marked mags are an excellent bargain compared to “factory”.

Yeah, we get all that Mec-Gar stamped mag being functionally identical. But a person wants the SIG branded mag, and as long as he is willing to pay for it, that's reason enough.

Oh Believe me I have plenty of Mec-Gar magazines for various makes, but like I said I wanted a couple of the Sig branded ones. I used to sell Mec-Gar when I had my business, so that didn't help magazine hoarding LOL.
Thanks Q. I checked Greg first, but found some at a reputable sight on sale for $29.99 plus shipping.
