First revolver in over a decade. Picked up this 36 today, second Smith arrived via USPS 15 minutes after I left the store. Guess I’ll go again tomorrow. Price was better than anything I was finding locally in the pawn shops. Photos online didn’t look great but it cleaned up a good bit with just a wipe down. I’ll polish it up a bit and give it a thorough cleaning after shooting it a bit this weekend.   10 years to retirement! Just waiting! | ||

Very nice. You're going to enjoy that little 36. Find some wadcutters somewhere and you'll be surprised how shootable and accurate a snubby can be. You already know this, but be careful, they multiply. And in your case apparently very quickly! | |||

I really miss my 36, bought new in the late 1970's, sold about 10 years later. Congratulations on the new Model 60. I have been a fan of both it and its close kin for years. My favorite load was the now almost impossible to find 200gr lead bullet. Now days it's a 158-gr lead SWCHP. | |||

I know you know not to use Kroil, Hoppes or the like on that. It gets under the nickel plating thru nicks and scratches and will remove if post haste.
