Very nice pistol! A W German P228 was my first Sig, and after shooting it, I was hooked on classic Sig's.

Congrats on your acquisition.

My 1991 P228 sits in the safe.
It will be given to my daughter when she marries, whenever that is.
First firearm she ever shot was a rental P228 at 14, 10 years ago.
I bought this one several years ago, just to save it for her..





But Dad keeps the 1988 P226... Big Grin
My son will end up with it eventually.

The P228 is a really nice handgun. I think Sig's got a winner with this model and it should carry the company pretty far.
