Cant wait to see the pics.

It was $560 plus tax for the one I bought.

It had been opened and around 200 rounds through it.

Outstanding pickup. Congratulations

I do not believe such an animal actually exists.

Pretty sure They all either have the 1913 rail or the proprietary Sig rail.
I have the 2022 with the Sig rail and the 2340 with the 1913.
Both are fantastic firearms. I do however prefer the Sig rail as it looks much cleaner.

That’s indeed a superb SIG selection your dealer has, and congrats on the pick-up!

The 220 with the wood grips.

I don’t suppose that’s a Langdon edition is it?

It's folded carbon steel slide. So, no.

My mistake. I thought those had folded carbon.

Nice nills I guess.

Well, I'm obviously not Q.

That would be a nickel 229, in .40 S&W.
Sig did in fact manufacture an all stainless 229, as in the 229ST (no rail).

And no tail, either.

Fun fact - SIG never made a rail-less tail-less all stainless P229 in 9mm.

Yes, the infamous Big Woods Goods.

Some here might remember that.

A common folded slide one for $1200, and a 2-tone milled slide for $1k.

$900 and $1100
I was SHOCKED to see what my home defense gun is worth now.
And I was reluctant to pay the $450 for it used in 1995.

Just imagine had you went to your financial advisor back then and he would have said:

'Stock market? No! Stock up on stainless P226s and 14 round P227 magazines...'

You don't have to live "over the border" Blume9mm!
Have your SC dealer send that shop a copy of their FFL and watch how fast it will be on your side of the border. SIMPLE!
