I have a Sig P225A1 that I'm very fond of and want to put a laser sight on it.
Does anyone know of one that I can purchase. the P225A1 does not have a rail
or cut out for an optic dot sight. TIA

You might want to contact Lasermax. They made guide rod lasers for Sig Sauer P series guns, maybe one of them would fit your P225A1.

Regrettably the P225A1 didn't have a long production run, so extremely limited after market support, probably almost non existent.

I can't really help much more than this, as I have zero experience with lasers on handguns.

What do you hope that installing a laser on your P225A1 will do for you?

The P225a1 uses the same guide rod as the P239. Might look in that direction tion.

Been a LaserMax very happy and satisfied owner/user for way over 35 years now and highly recommend them.
The production for the P239 was limited to just a few years and if the takedown levers are different form the 239 and A-1 then the 239 LM guiderod wouldn’t work even if you could find a used one.
