New Beretta B22 “Jaguar”
Beretta USA B22 Lineup

Beretta had this at the 2025 Shot range day but have been silent over the year.
Online retailers have posted the standard and competition pistols.

It’s a Ruger clone at heart.
People like me were hoping for an 87X.

All the modern updates with none of the Beretta heritage.

I’m disappointed.

Honest question, what are you mounting 90* to the muzzle that far forward? Not a gas pedal…barrier stop?

And me. Frown

That thing looks like the bastard deformed inbred child of a Hi-Point and a Ruger MkIII that got worked over by Bubba with every chinesium airsoft accessory he could find in 30 minutes of searching on Amazon.

And Chris is definitely right...the PX4 and even the Cougar could win beauty contests if the competition was that thing.

I just noticed the Competition model has a Tandemkross front sight……

At least an LPA Beretta!

ETA:
Updated the first post with text supporting this decision.

No sleek Italian "swoopy" lines on that one. And this from the owner of a CZ P-07.

It sure takes after its father, the Hi-Point.

It looks like a KelTec that won the lottery.

Thanks for posting.

I’m glad that I have my Beretta 87 Target.

Serious about crackers.

I own two (used to be 3) 87’s. One is NIB one has had the snot shot out of it. Cases and cases and cases worth. Then after a decade and a half at least its firing pin broke. It still fired though. I only noticed because cleaning it the tip was protruding through the breech face. Ugh. It was a bear to find a replacement. In fact if anyone knows where some are then pass that info along. For this reason alone I wanted an 87X.

Plus an 87X would be fantastic. This is utter disappointment wrapped in pic rails and thread protectors. Ugh.

It certainly is......impressive. Not to my taste, though.

15rd mags are interesting. I thought that, in pistol mags, going beyond 10rds with the rimmed 22lr cartridge became problematic.

And no, I don't think it's attractive. I get regular email ads from Tandemkross, and I just can't find any reason I'd want that stuff on a pistol or rifle.

I used to own an Sig 322 (I think that is what it was called) and it had higher than 10 capacity. I think it was 15 or 18. As long as you stacked it right it was reliable. On those bigger 22 mags you can’t just hold down the follower and pour rounds in. You got to stagger them correctly.

IIRC, KelTec made a quad-stacked 22lr magazine
