The Whack-Job Whisperer |
We took in a Kimber BP10 Ultra Compact at the shop I work part time in. I vaguely recall these pistols. I thought they were made for a short period of time in the 90s, but I am told they were made up until 2006 on frames imported from Israel. Anyone have one of these? Is it reliable? Accurate? How hard is it to find mags and what is the average cost of mags when found? I swore off Kimbers over a decade ago. But this is an interesting piece with a very crisp trigger. Thanks! Who Woulda Ever Thought? |
I had a full size BP 10 at one time. It was a very good shooter. The magazine was kind of short from front to back. You had to watch the overall length of your round if you reload. I personally avoid any 1911 with a barrel shorter than 4". It had a firing pin safety and an external extractor that wasn't too highly regarded. | |||
