Pistol racks for gun safe? Login/Join

I'm rearranging a few things and was looking at possibly upgrading my old wireframe pistol racks in the safe. I really prefer pistol racks but would be open to other options.

I have a 4 handgun rack from gun racks dot com. I'm happy with it.

Good quality, but more expensive than OttoSig's example above.

Might not be the same brand, but this is more or less what I currently have.

This is inspiring. I might try to build my own to custom fit the shelves in my safe.

The vending machine safes are so friggin cool. I wonder if I can negotiate that with my wife for one to go next to the fridge before we remodel the kitchen lol.

I also have something along the lines of the snapsafe type. It's the only way I can organize what is in my safe

I made a rack out of three dowels and two pieces of leftovers from another project. Wood doesn’t hurt the finish either.

I liked the way the pistol hangers looked at Gun Storage Solutions I ordered 4 and 2 of the "rifle rods". They look like they will work for my smaller safe.

I tried some of the wooden pistol racks for my handguns but found they take up a lot more room in my safe than the rubber coated wire racks do so I went back to them. If you've got a lot of handguns, room can be tight.

You also have to be careful with wood. Some woods like oak can give off acetic acid which can cause corrosion in metal.

I know this is not what the OP asked for, but I always just used the dish racks you can buy for cheap. You can bend them to fit and are not out a lot of money.

I have these grey foam pistol holders I like quite a bit. When I get home I’ll try to get the name. They come as singles or set of four.

I use the wire dish racks too. I tilt the guns down muzzle first after I put them in tube socks to keep them from touching each other. I put a piece of blue painters tap on the bottom of each mag to show each model.
