Hi guys. Armory Craft has a picture on their website of a P320 with the aluminum grip module. Both the grip module and Sig slide look like stainless steel. I’m thinking about doing something similar, but not sure how to go about it. The slide can be blasted (assumed), but what is the best way to make the aluminum frame appear correct? Blast off then black nitride? Clear over the bare aluminum? Leave it raw? Or, cerekote The frame silver? Also, and recommendations of companies to do the work?

I had my P229 frame done in Robar NP3, teflon/nickel. The AXG grip frame would look like satin SS. The slide would be GTG in NP3 as well. Wright Armory in Mesa, AZ is now the Go To for NP3 and NP3+ finishes. ________________________________________________________ The trouble with trouble is; it always starts out as fun.

CCR does a pretty good coating that comes real close to a bead blast stainless look. My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"
