[QUOTE All that said, I've yet again found myself in a position where I have more Glocks than really makes sense and need to thin the herd. [/QUOTE]
No comprende. I was at a family reunion yesterday and was talking guns with a couple of cousins. One of them asked me if I had any glocks because he was thinking about getting one. When I laughed and said I think I have 63 now, his jaw hit the floor.

I'm hoping these magazines aren't so bad to dissemble after all. Lenny is one hell of a salesman showcasing that MDT magazine tool. The guy is so likable, he could rip me off and I would still like him.

Doesn't it bug the shit out of you to have an odd number? Shouldn't you pick another up?

Just finished my Glock transition course with my issued G45 COA. Although I am used to Glocks with an RMR and P320 With a DPP it is taking time to get used to the COA. Time for more rounds down range-

I hate you. Haha. I’m looking at a G17.6 with COA so it won’t take long I’m sure.
I'm with cslinger - what the hell kinda sense does 63 Glocks make? I'd have a chronic eye twitch if that were me.
65. 65 would make the eye twitching stop.
I've owned more Glocks than anything else, easily so. I just got to a point where I couldn't fit everything in the safe and had to ask myself what I was actually shooting. It was a fraction of that. I have spent a lot of the last year trying to condense the collection of crap down to just what I think is justifiable, is quality, and is built out with whatever quality optics, slings, triggers, holsters, etc. makes sense. I still have a ways to go. Some day when I crap out, I want my son to be able to come and pick up what's left in one truckload between the guns and the ammo, and not have to scour the house to do so.

If by "You will buy a Glock" you mean I will buy a full size Ruger RXM to go with my smaller version, the you are correct sir! Because I did! and hope they make them in 10mm. And I'll but that too. And they should just offer it in the Glock 34 format as well.

All of us in the gun and shooting community have run across some pure gimmicks and crap.
On the other hand, there’s stuff in our range bag / tool kit that we swear by.
The Real Avid line of tools is stuff I swear by!

I haven't tried their magazine tool, but their automatic opening Glock multitool is superb.
I’ve been noticing in some circles on social media that dudes are paying top dollar for Gen5 17s NIB/LNIB.
And I can’t figure out why?

LGS had a Gen 3 17 in fairly decent shape for $399. Tempted! All new models are running $525 up to about $640 for MOS models.

Because GunTuber Charlie Coks (Micah Mayfield counterpart and both formerly of Garandthumb... I feel dumb that I know all this, but whatever) recently put out some videos where he dogged the Gen 6 and told everyone that since Glock discontinued the Gen 5 17 and 34's, that if you ever wanted one, you should go get one, because those exact combinations of frame and slide length won't be available in new production anymore.
Whether any of the credit can actually be laid at his feet or he's simply parroting something he's seen other people say, I can only guess, but the short version is this is correct. Going forward, Glock is basically only producing what was the G47, of what were the longer slide length models.

Now, I have acquired more than a few of their products. All solid and useful stuff!

Since I got my full size Ruger RXM, I've been wondering why I still need my Gen 5 Glock 34. And the reason is pretty simple. It's my night stand gun, it's paid for and I have a ton of accessories for it. And a lot of times when I look at it, I hear in my crazy head, "Good afternoon Mr. Wick."This message has been edited. This one isn't new to me, but she's being run through the paces. Shot a class 2 weeks back, AIWB to get the reps in. I like the 48 a lot.
