You will buy a Glock

Buster30290You will buy a Glock
I feel so "dirty."
I just traded a Sig for a Glock
BUT I'll only own it for a couple of days until I can get together with a guy who's trading me a nice Hi-Power for the Glock.
Meantime, I'm keeping the Glock well separated from my "real" gun collection so it doesn't contaminate anything. It feels like I've invited Darth Vader to dinner. WHAT WAS I THINKING!
So, in a way, I guess Para was right - I did buy/trade for a Glock, but soon I'll renounce my sins by carefully fondling the Hi-Power and pray for forgiveness.

RaidersruleI have a 19 and a 26. When the man starts writing me checks, I'll add a 17 to that list.
I was always on the light side in the video games but... The darkness has a certain draw to it.
Strong, the Glock's pull is.

Partner, you'd better back up a few pages and review my comments. I don't want to hear from you any more in this thread.
I know this may be hard for you to accept, but no one really cares whether or not you buy a Glock.

coloradohunter44In honor of this long time post I looked a 23 with nites. All of a sudden a P6 jumped in my hand and I left with it. (Pictures later) It was a bit cheaper and will be my project gun. Maybe later on the Glock.......

AirmanJeffI used to be lukewarm to Glocks, but lately they're all I've been taking to the range. It took me a while to get used to that trigger, but now that I am I really enjoy shooting them. I just bought a G17 RTF2, can't wait to shoot it!

ensigmaticMy very first big-bore auto-loader was a G22. (Purchased out of spite on the day Clinton signed the Brady Bill.) I never did shoot well with it. Then my wife bought me a P239 SAS for Christmas. My shooting immediately improved immensely. Figured "Ok, me and Glocks = No good," and that G22 would be my last Glock.
Then I decided I had a need for a 9mm "range gun."
Sig had priced themselves out of the market, for me. Was going to get a CZ 75B Stainless, but, before I could pull the trigger, the factory had arbitrarily and capriciously changed the finish from matte to highly-polished. Didn't want that. Briefly considered the M&P9 Pro, but didn't like the M&P line's history and I did no better with an M&P9 I rented than I usually do with my G22.
My buddy's G34, OTOH, worked very well for me.
So now I own another Glock

RobinatorGot me too, put a deposit on a G17A, now have to put in for the permit, wait for licencing to ring up and ask why i need another 9mm, convince them politely then go pick it up. What will my X5 think when i bring it home?

durianI vowed not to buy the gun with the stick of butter for a slide but I rented one at a range and took the plunge in July. Got a G19. Looking to get a G22. Intrigued with the reports of the new version coming next year with the removable backstraps.
Para is correct.

parabellumSoon, all of America will own Glocks.
Muuhahahahahahahaha!

jeremiahjjRobinator, I don't mean to be inpertinent, but why ahould someone need to "convince them why you need another 9mm?" You want one, the store has one, you have the money to buy it. I can see running a check to see if a buyer is a felon or maybe a mental case, but convincing someone why you "need another gun" (or car or loaf or bread or anything else) shouldn't be necessary. This is the United States of America, not communist China or Soviet Russia. Help me out here, which state do you live in and who is doing this?

WizzMy main carry is a G19, that thing eats anything and never needs to be cleaned...it's a simple tool that works flawlessly. I have the 1st generation that doesn't have the finger grooves on the handle which I never cared for, as I like my hand to sit where it wants to naturally grip the pistol.
At a range I used to go to they said their rental Glocks go ~10,000 rounds with no issues before they would clean/lube them...they said that it isn't even necessary but they do it anyway.

papaacSorry, but i will never own a Glock. I have fired a few, but I do not like them. However, I am glad for all the Glock owners, because they make that many more gun owners.
