It wasn't me, it was rscalzo (The word "quote" gives it away)

Got it, wasn't watching close enough. Maybe rscalzo can answer the question for us.

Kevboif...when the weapon is detail stripped..the take down lever is put back in backwards (and it will fit, and the gun will reassemble fine) when the trigger is pulled, the slide will slide right off if tipped forward or under the force of recoil...i have seen guns put back together like this actually fire undetected a few times
thats my guess....

AmurrHey Parabellum,
BTW, you really are a huge jerk ;-) I was just starting to get my gun thing under control with a few HK's and few sig's and after reading this stupid absurdly long post, I am going to have to try and get a G17 or 19 or 26 and work it in to the collection.
Thanks for nothing,
Alex

jeremiahjjAnother happy man! Now go to Glockparts.com or one of the other aftermarket shops and begin picking up on extended slide stops, 3.5 lb connectors, and all those other goodies.
Better yet, buy 3 or 4 of everything (most of the parts are interchangeable) because you'll need 'em for the next Glocks you buy.
You see, there's this disease called Glockitis. There is no known cure but it tends to go away on its own after you buy one of every model Glock makes.

PaulSig226I put 100 more rounds through my G30 SF today. It shoots great when I'm doing my part. It'll put round after round in just about the same hole. Pretty sure I had a few rounds today that just went right on through the ragged hole without touching paper.
I also picked up another 300 rounds of federal champion .45 at Wal Mart today. They had massive amounts of .45 for once.

drabfourSaw a G23 with Austrian proofs last week at the local Gander Mountain. But it was high like everything else there. Don't recall the exact price but I know it was over $600.

M_E_Let's saunter over to the gun safe & see what we have in here, Boys & Girls. Open up the door and let's take a look inside!
Wow, Boy's & Girls, there are many fine weapons inside here! Lots of Bushmaster AR15s, Rugers lots of Remingtons, a McMillan hunting rifle and lots of hand guns as well.
Too bad Boys & girls, still no Glock!
The bigger the hole, the harder they squirt!

parabellumWell, I know one member who may or may not own a Glock, who should cool his jets.
August 18, 2009, 02:45 PM
ShneaSIGI have a good reason for not owning a Glock.
I don't have the money to buy guns right now!
...I do like the little ones, though.
(and are we approaching a record length thread?)

sargespdYes I did. Got a decent deal on a G19 on Gunbroker, night sights and all. Locally they fly off the shelf pretty quick. Looking forward to getting it. Also got a sweet P7M8 with NP3 finish, and a nice two tone (reverse two tone for those who see it that way), CZ75B. Cool stuff.

JPI knew it was a matter of time...
Just ordered a G19 from Top Gun.
I feel dirty already...a good kind of dirty.
