You will buy a Glock

A rookie officer with his finger on the trigger of his pistol tensed as he pushed open a stuck door; the added pressure on the trigger caused his weapon to fire a shot down the stairwell. The fellow officer failed to do a chamber check before pulling the trigger as part of the handgun's normal disassembly procedure. Yup, those dirty Glocks are sure to blame...

If you go for the G23 you can get a G32 barrel and run 357sig..
357sig is a lot of fun..
I run my G22 in this way.
Only keep 40cal around in case of another shortage.
Although I'm really partial to my Gen 2 G19..

hrcjonMy newest will the G34 MOS. Should have it in hand on Monday. Hoping it can replace my current plate gun which is using an external mount for the optic. But not sure if the RMR will be as fast as my current eotech. TBD.

BBMWIf you have a G23 (or I assume a G22 also)...
You can buy and OEM 357SIG barrel for it (as you can by a .40 for G31 or 32)
You can get an aftermarket 9mm barrel and G17 and/or 19 magazines, and shoot 9mm out of any of the .40 or 357SIG Glocks.
And I believe there are also .22LR conversion kits (slide, barrel, mag) for the G23 and others.
Four calibers off of one frame is pretty versatile.

I've owned and sold a lot of handguns..
I've never owned an HK P7 (shot one a long time ago), but I'd dare think I would have held on to that one.
But what do I know?
I'm a firm believer in selling any firearm I have no use for, to buy something I want more.
I sold 2 Sigs, a P239 SAS and P229 SAS, and bought several Glocks with that money..

bobandmikakoWell, I didn't have a Gen 4 and thought this looked pretty cool, so I picked it up today. It's the Lipsey's FDE model.

modestglock26Just got home with a G42 and I'm not sure if I hate myself or I'm just getting super lazy about carrying all the time.
For a few weeks I've been debating the .380/9mm crap, and the size factor. The 43 was too big for me to see the point. Couldn't seem to decide between a Shield, XDs, G42 or a Kahr.
The shop today had a good price on all of the above and way better prices on the used one than I would've expected. Not sure I made the right choice, but I've got the G42 on me now and it seems like it'll be making daily much more realistic for me.
The P380 was a close call but I got a better deal on the G42 with a spare mag.

deadmanmikeI'm trying to decide on my next Glock purchase (after my 43 of course) it's either going to be an FDE Gen 4 G17 or a Gen 4 26 in FDE. I have a 19 in FDE already, I'm actually leaning G17

The SargeI can make a legit post in this epic thread today. Went down to my usual police supply to pick up a Glock 43 with NS for my son. While there I added a Gen4 Glock 22 for myself. So I bought two Glocks in one day. Also I handled the big 45ACP Glock 41 and loved it. As soon as I start reloading 45ACP the Glock 41 will be mine. That will be real soon. Bill
HK, Glock, Walther and SIG are my choice in handguns.
Weapon Shield CLP for all pistol care.
It is a hell of a lot easier to get out of jail than it is to get out of the morgue...
