No, they just wanted everyone interested to buy a G42, and then they can buy the 9mm version of it.

It is a marketing technique..
I've had no problems at all with my Kahr PM9 or CM9...
I've handled the G42 and have no use for it.
I pocket carry the smaller (and same capacity) Ruger LCP.
The same sized Glock pistol in 9mm?????????????
I might have a use for it, but it is still bigger than my CM9...

As far as 'you will buy a Glock', I'm involved in bidding wars on GB for a couple Gen 2 G21s..
So far the one I want has a beat up slide.
If I win that one, the slide and barrel go straight to CCR for CPII.

drabfour^^^ James I was in our newly expanded Gander and they had a Gen2 21 in the case, I believe it was $549.

OMGoodness..
Your Gander is better than ours..
I walked in a few months ago never to return..
Their gun and ammo prices were thru the roof...
But I appreciate the heads up..
If my GB bids fall thru I might take a drive to Tyler..
I think the wife is wanting to go to Canton this weekend.
I could drop her off and pick her up on the way back from Tyler..

drabfourNo problem. I don't like going into ours either, mainly just to see what's new and since they remodeled. More used guns in their today than I have ever seen in there. But still no bargains.

Latent Glockosexuals sometime pull this "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" routine before succumbing to their secret desire.

NHForesterI have never owned a Glock!
But I want to.

Actually, I wouldn't mind owning several. Where do I fit in?

Into the "it's only a matter of time" category.
Why wait? Go get one now, "while things are quiet" as a wise man said recently...

I've been where you are NHForester. I wanted to like a Glock but couldn't find a fit until the Generation 4 models came out. I got a model 19 and quite appreciate it. Now I think that there will be more. Uh Oh....

1lowlife You will buy a (several) Glock magazine(s) .
I'm not big on color filled engravings, but the process does seem to have it's usefulness.
I'll be adding 3 of these to the collection this week, depending on Gunbroker...
Have a great weekend everyone..
