Enjoy the Glock stock trigger. Make it even better with a 25 cent trigger job, easily found on youtube. I've owned a few XD pistols and never cared for the spongy sloppy trigger...

Bought a Glock 20 a couple months ago and liked it a lot, shot my friends gen 4, 23 and guess what I found in the classifieds this morning? With 7 magazines! Should have it by the end of the week!

Last year, I sold my 2 Glocks to finance a P229R. I love the P229, but missed my Glocks.... One was a G23 OD, that I particularly missed.
My green G23 has gone on to another, and every time I see one on this thread, I mourn her loss.
Until yesterday.....when another, black G23 came home with me.

Not in a month of sundays with a wagon load of cash! They are a fine pistol & I recommend them to anyone that wants one but they aren't the be all-end all some of the "glockophiles" spout about. Aesthetically displeasing & the ergonomics of a brick.

You might be putting your pity in the wrong place. I don't like Glocks because I don't like the way they fit my hand. I don't like Glocks because they are unappealing to me. I don't like Glocks because I believe there are better handguns out there for my needs. This might suprise you as well. I don't & have never owned a Sig handgun!(I have their rifles though) Put that in your chicken & cluck it! I've fired many over the years but like other firearms of that design, I never cozied up to the DA/SA trigger system. I can shoot them well, just don't like them. Like Glocks they are great handguns but unlike Glocks they are pleasing to the eye. Perhaps the fool you pity might be looking back at you from your mirror. There's something for everyone. Glocks just aren't for everyone.
