Lo, salvation is Glock's Will for you, thou made real and true on earth and gun range. All His Master abundant blessings are freely available in thy striker-fired salvation. Thou bestowed all things His Master's tupperware soup brothed, gooped and injection molded thus provides. A new life, peace with Glock, righteousness, mercy (my, my), perfect health for thy eyes, unfailing groups, faith in reliability absolute, deliverance of thy righteous +P power, and unfettered joy in the thy lone ragged hole is awaiting thy soul. Your unerring, divine faith is thou greatest gift that can be offered to His Holiest Glock (and His new horse-loving 30-something betrothed).
Welcome to The Light. Deliverance from that wickedness burden of thy heavy high bore SIG of the depths of rainbowed checkerplate depravity. Ahem brother, ahem...

"My first Glock, a gen4 g26 is on its way, wondering about a mag. ext. any favorites."
Midwest Guy, the first Glock 26 I bought was used. The two mags had a Pierce extension and +2 bottom on them. See photo. The +2 only held one extra cartridge and was horribly blocky, but I liked the finger extension. When I took this gun to Glock for a physical the teck replaced both bottoms with Glock +2 bottoms for free. The Glock extensions do hold 2 extra rounds and are more streamlined. I like them a good bit, and have them on five of my six G26 magazines.
Here are the guns with Glock +2 extensions.

My 26 has a Pearce Plus 2 extension (PG-39 I think it is) and it works great. Holds two extra rounds, plus it has a nice curved place for the pinkie to hang out.

Still Glockless. Although, I've often recommended the brand to friends and family.

Getting the lightly used G17 RTF2 Friday. May go to a Glock Armor's course next year in the Spring and now I am thinking a Glock 31 or 30 might be the needed. Humm....

The only downside to my Glock is that I'm super paranoid about getting the firing pin/striker channel/whatever dirty and causing light strikes in a moment of need. That's the one thing I love about my hammer-fired pistols; how hard they bust a primer.

Ahh, but at least with the Glock you can easily strip down that slide and clean out the channel and striker whenever you feel the urge, and without any special tools. With a hammer fired pistol like a Sig, especially those using friction fit firing pin bolts like most stainless slide models, it's nearly impossible to do the same job without a hydraulic press or a heavy mallet, and a new pin. Advantage=Glock.
