My big green G21 is the only shooter I have remaining. Hanging onto it with a clenched fist. Got lots of mags and ammo for it. She is mine.

LH2I cleaned my two Glocks today. I normally clean my guns after each range trip. But it had been three range trips this time and I started to feel really neglectful. Truth is, I'm sure they'd go many more range trips without any issues...
Love how easy they are to strip / clean, and that finish is just the cat's meow.

delta 2Dammit I have been hating Glocks for over 20 years now. Now I own a Gen 3 19C. What have I done.

hoot4x4When Para started this thread two and a half years ago, I said NO WAY!
I just ordered a 17 from SCP.
Excuse: They have Glock events at my range. One of the owners got me interested in entering the December event. He talked me into shooting a couple of their training guns last weekend. You have to have a Glock to shoot at a Glock event and, and ..................
I must admit, the new ones feel a lot better than the first ones I picked up.

I was at my gun club yesterday. Very contently shooting one of my 229 40s while thinking about buying my second HK P30. Felt a great disturbance in the force as a young gentleman arrived and started double tapping a silhouette with some really good and fast shots. He was shooting a mid size Glock and from his speed and seemingly lack of recoil, I assumed a 9mm. I commended him on his shooting but learned he was shooting a GEN4 23 !!!. I was shooting both 165gr and 180gr American Eagle and he let me try that Gen4 23 along side my 229 40. Holy shit. Shot it two hand, strong hand and weak hand. Very soft shooting with little muzzle flip and more straight back recoil. Shot the 23 back and forth with my 229 right there and that 23 shot softer than my 229. Again, the Gen4 Glock 23 has moved to the number one spot on my gotta buy one right now list. Bill
Exactly the reason why I chose the Gen4 G23 over a CPO non-rail P229 I was lusting over for my first .40SW. That mid-90s SIG was sweet and had virtually no wear, but it's the way that I shoot the Glock that completely won me over.

jeremiahjjI still say this is Parabellum's joke. He will reveal after the 150th page is posted that he indeed owns NO Glocks at all, that he hates "plastic" guns manufactured in Austria and sold in Georgia, that in reality he is a (1) Sig fan, followed by (2) Colt 1911s; (3) anything from Ruger or Springfield; and finally, (4) Smith and Wesson. Most of all, he is a practical joker who has been joshing us around all this time. You can tell this is coming by the Hoo-ah-hahahahahahha at the end of his last message.
Right? No? Who owns this forum? Para? Oh, no....... I'm toast now. :-)

Oh well I can say I at least tried one now.
I tried one as well.
It did help bring the muzzle down a bit at presentation.
But it was ugly and I sold mine on eBay..
It just takes a nano-second to acquire proper aim, so the piece of plastic wasn't worth it.

Ditto.... I took the new "gripforce adapter" beavertail I purchased
"OFF" my G19.. After a few weeks of testing and trying to like it.. It just didn't live up to it's hype... for me.. The good thing is it drove me to realize that there is nothing wrong with a stock glock 19. I even took off My tru-glo night sites and put back on a new set of stock plastic sites. I like them better. go figure
I never had a problem shooting or aiming my Glocks. My problems came in the manipulation of the firearm. I got sick of having my hand get chewed up whenever I did a failure drill and had to rack the slide multiple times quickly, or the occasional time when I'd do a speed reload. Talk about throwing your next shot...
So, the only reason I tried one was to see if the beavertail would keep my hand clear. It's worked so well my callous is finally going away.
