Mastershop pistols now ship with the Mastershop Certificate, starting late last year.

And, on the Mastershop LDC II specifically, there's even an engraved "M" on top of the slide. And, the gun comes with triple serial numbers, instead of the usual two. Plus, better target sights, and a better trigger. And, the extended threaded barrel. All nice touches, imo.

This is the base LDC II for comparison.

Love the grips. I've always liked the texture of the E2 grip but hated the one-piece construction, because it tends to loosen up. The new 2-panel construction using grip screws, but retaining the E2 texture, makes it perfect for me.

SIG USA should make these and sell them.

does anyone know a shop that can turn the E2 grip into E2 grip with screws? Can't be too hard, right?

Definitely will shoot it. It's only a matter of when I get to it, just like so many others in the collection still waiting to get to the range. Roll Eyes

Q - I see they make this model in a Target and Super Target version also. I am gonna have to start saving my dimes and add one of these to my small collection since I have two suppressors in hand that will fit this pistol perfectly....

Anxious to hear how this model shoots. Will not be purchasing the Target or Super Target model. I like you also like the E2 style grips even if it is a two piece unit....Mark

First time I have noticed the model number being stamped on the frame.

Is this only on the LDC II or has SIG done this on other models?

Q - Might want to check your box SN# against your actual pistols SN#........

What you will see is that someone keyed the box SN# in wrong when they were creating that box label.

-220 vs. -226
