Can the P320C be safely cleaned ultrasonically? Many thanks, Lyman

To my knowledge, the FCU contains no aluminum or plastic, so it should be okay in an ultrasonic cleaner. NOTE: This is the FCU, by itself, outside the grip frame. Nice is overrated "It's every freedom-loving individual's duty to lie to the government." Airsoftguy, June 29, 2018

Isn't there a plastic block at the back that holds all of the little springs and levers? ------------------------------ "They who would give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin "So this is how liberty dies; with thunderous applause." - Senator Amidala (Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith)

A plastic part is the small slide catch spring post at the front of the slide catch lever.
That’s the sear housing and is metal that’s attracted by a magnet in my P320s. “I can’t give you brains, but I can give you a diploma.” — The Wizard of Oz This life is a drill. It is only a drill. When I read this post I pulled an FCU and looked at it because it sure looks like plastic to me. But eventually curiosity overcame me and I played with it enough to prove to myself its metal. it is. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”
