I have embraced the optic as the answer to my failing eyesight and after quite a bit of trial and error, are finally getting some success. I ran across the Primary Arms website and their pistol optics are considerably cheaper than the big names. Anyone been using Primary Arms? On what gun? Are they durable? I am thinking of using the Primary Arms optic for live fire and saving my carry optic the wear and tear. Thanks in advance!

Can't help with pistol optics but I have run their optics on rifles for a few years now & they have been stellar!

I love their 509t ACSS reticle variant. I have a few of the regular 509s but the chevron circle is very smart. You basically dont see the circle unless you present incorrectly (can even happen with expereinced shooters in an awkward position). Otherwise you just get the chevron which stands out and can be used for drops or just being really eyecatching. It has a slightly different footprint but it comes with a mount that has been fine on my G19 and fits the MOS cut.

Outside of that I have one of their 507 Acss reticles that has been just fine and all of their rifle stuff has done what I've asked of it. Hope that helps.

There are three tiers to PA optics, from what I understand, from most affordable to most expensive: SLx, GLx and PLx. Had one of their SLx 1x Prism briefly. If you’re used to the true 1x RDS like the Aimpoint or Trijicon or EOTech, you won’t like this one. Don’t know anything about any of their other optics.
