I'm a fan of fiber optic front sights so opted for Hilton Yam's 10-8 Performance sight in Sig #6 sizing... My local gunsmith installed it for me and it works very well. POI is unchanged without having to replace the rear sight so I'd say that 10-8 Performance nailed the specs on this sight. One of the reasons I bought it is that the published specs perfectly matched the measurements I took from the pistol. While I liked the stock front sight I do see the FO sight better in most conditions so I'm very happy with the results. I've put a few hundred rounds through it with the new sight and so far so good! The 10-8 sight has an extra support in the middle of the sight, and a recessed aperture at the rear of the sight, allowing one to pull the heated fiber optic into the hole, creating a recessed and perfectly round dot for aiming. No financial interest, just a satisfied customer -- I find Hilton's approach to be honest, no BS and very knowledgeable.. Retired from the FBI, he is an authority on the 1911 and much more..I took his 1911 shooting class in Florida just before Covid hit and it was a great day. His DVDs on the 1911 and Shooting with Optics are excellent and he's populated his YouTube page with some very interesting content. Commo

Looks nice. I don’t see any legitimate reason to put Dawson out of business though. Glad you like yours.

I have been friends with Hilton for many years. You just don’t find any better, from the business or personal perspective.

Jerry, thanks for that...I'm very interested to see what Hilton does with the Sig 320 line as he has indicated he's experimenting with it for potential product additions. Commo
