Rolan_Kraps232 Spring replacement
So replacing the hammer and recoil springs in my Walther PPK DRAMATICALLY improved the feel and shootability of the gun. I was wondering if it is worthwhile to replace the springs in a SIG P232?
What say you? Also, what weights have worked well for you? Unlike my Walther, my 232 has shot without a hiccup (so far).

tcfieroProbably but good luck with finding the springs. They are hard to find.

patwDoes your 232 have many rounds through it? If not, I don't think I would worry about it. I can't help you on what weights though. Ebay seems to have a bunch of different types of springs for it if you want to change them out or have reserve stash.

Blume9mmMy thought is there is way too much of a difference between the two.. I own both and the P232 is way above the Walther....
Leave it alone....

Wolff has them available right now.

Sgt 127I was always under the impression that on a blow back gun, the hammer spring should be left alone as it will help retard the slide speed a little on recoil.
Not sure if it makes a huge difference though.

Rolan_KrapsI ordered a recoil spring from Wolff. Now we wait.
