I got a trade offer for a Kriss Vector 9mm pistol with folding brace. Its a gun I know next to nothing about but have always thought seemed pretty cool in theory. But then theres the typical gun-store bullshittery about the guns being designed for full auto, and not as reliable Semi-Auto, or how they shake themselves apart. For those who have or have had a Vector in 9mm, what are your thoughts, and what should i look for when looking at a used one? Is there any truth to the rumors of reliability or longevity issues, or is it gun counter BS? Thanks. ____________________________ While you may be able to get away with bottom shelf whiskey, stay the hell away from bottom shelf tequila. - FishOn

I had a 45 version years ago and it ran like a top. The only complaint I had was trying to charge that sucker when the hammer was down. The first gen was known for it and many people had the issue. I don't know about the 9mm version having the same problem.

The 9,357 sig,40 are all made on the same chassis. 45/10mm on their own. I have a 40sw gen 2 carbine now made into an 8" SBR. It has been a great gun. I am pushing 5k on mine. They are heavier, and have a lower bore axis, so the recoil is nicely muted. This is as much fun to run as any of my 9mm guns, and better than my BNT GHM45 when it comes to recoil. Super pleasant to shoot.

My other Sig is a Steyr. |
Haven't had any problems with mine in .45 Auto. Mine is a Gen1 carbine and has worked great for years.

I have a gen 2 9mm that I sbr as well. It has been really reliable. I second that it has a heft to it. Double taps are so easy to do.

We had two of the originals in 45ACP A handgun and a carbine. Certainly they have the cool look To me the handgun made little sense. There are so many 45s on the market that were much more practical The carbine was another story. I would have preferred a select fire version, but they are harder to come by. I found the carbine to be reasonably accurate and totally reliable [b]is it gun counter BS?[b] Yes BS Eventually I sold both and picked uo a 45ACP DI SMG to replace it ------------------------------------------------------------------ NRA Benefactor . . .
